The hill has made me mentally and physically strong. The hill is a natural way to get my body in shape. It has prepared me for many challenges that I thought I would not be able overcome. I've learned to center and focus my mind from running the hill. The hill has played a key role in me being successful in sports. It put me a few steps ahead of other athletes I competed against. There are no off days for athletes so while others were sleeping in on the weekend I was up early Saturday and Sunday morning working out on the hill. Even when I was sick or Injured I needed to run the hill. It would allow me to sweat out the sickness or strengthen and heal whatever body part was injured. Because of this the hill has taught me how to mentally and physically prepare for any challenge I face.
